SF CITY HALL WEDDING
This wedding was SO FUN, I loved every bit of it. S+T are a cute couple with amazing friends and family. These two met when they were young in France, and came back together years later. This is my 3rd French union, and I have to say they have been such fun loving people. I have always loved French culture, food + wine. We got married at the Philo apple farm in Mendocino owned by the original owners of the French laundry. Food & Wine is a serious love of mine. Pretty sure that it’s not just an Asian thing, I’m half and I’ve been obsessed with food since I can remember. And I love spaces that are effortlessly beautiful, where you don’t need to bring in much decor. That’s how Stable Cafe and the apple farm are, effortlessly gorgeous and cozy.
Now let’s talk about these french dudes. I mean damn, they had me at colours, let alone the accent. The groomsmen entered the ceremony snapping their fingers to their own beat. It was cute. AND the officiant sang a chinese song, that I recognized by Deng Lijun, whom my grandparents loved. In fact, I have a photo of my grandpa with Deng Lijun!
We started the day off right with some music-less group photos, and the rest just got better and better. After the ceremony, we went to Potrero hill.
I get to do a good amount of city hall weddings these days with receptions in the city, and I never get old of city hall, it’s gorgeous, and it’s nice to stay close to home.
